Yesterday’s bread… today !
Back in Paris, I wrote in my newsletter about Demain where they are combatting food waste by selling bread and pastries that over 30 bakeries haven’t sold at the end of the day. They also have sandwiches and warm, pressed croissants filled with dark chocolate. Prices of bread and pastries are up to 50% off and while Parisians are used to buying fresh bread daily, most breads last several days – so why not?
